My daughter Alexia and I have been growing together since I was 18, when I began working at the Woodland Community College Child Development Center. Her arrival led me to open my own family daycare so I could care for her myself, and when she was ready for preschool, I applied for a teaching position at a non-profit school, bringing her along with me.

After my son Erik was born, I stayed home with him until he, too, was ready for preschool. Before joining the Discovery Montessori team, I worked as a substitute paraeducator for a local school district, supporting students with special needs.

Each step of this path, shaped alongside my own children, has deepened my commitment to nurturing every child's growth with patience, care, and an unwavering belief in their potential.
