Discovery Montessori Preschool’s program is founded on the child-centered principles Maria Montessori developed over a century ago.
She believed a child’s ability to learn flourishes in a warm and supportive environment, with engaging sensory materials thoughtfully crafted to teach concepts. A love of learning must take root early to foster a child’s lifelong enthusiasm for discovery.

The Montessori Method nurtures a child’s curiosity for self-directed learning within a carefully prepared environment.
Our program allows the children to lead, with teachers guiding, not directing, their learning at a natural pace. We help each child cultivate the tools, or building blocks, for the learning journey ahead. Our classroom is filled with a wide collection of specialized learning materials designed for small hands, displayed on low, open shelves.
Our children work together in a multi-age classroom built on peer learning, mentorship, and a sense of community. Our goal is to create an environment grounded in self-expression and joyful learning - for each child and the group as a whole.
